Welcome to the Wimborne u3a and to our website. Here you can find all the information you need to join and become an active member of our u3a community.
Our purpose is to provide social and learning activities for the retired and semi-retired in Wimborne and the surrounding area. We are a charity, and part of a national organisation – there are over 1000 u3a groups around the country, but our focus is the local community and people in Wimborne.

There are so many good reasons for getting involved with Wimborne u3a:
* we have over 50 groups, as you’ll see from our programme, with a great range of choice in subjects and activities
* we’re great value for money – pay a small annual fee and you have unlimited access to all the courses
* we’re a local charity and all our activities and organisation are undertaken by volunteers
* we’re friendly and inclusive with lots of opportunities to meet and socialise
We hope you enjoy taking a look around the website, and we hope to see you in one or more of our groups in the future.
